Innocean has selected Suzanne Plümecke as the agency's new European COO, based in Berlin.

Previously, she was managing director, Germany, at Mediamonks. Prior to that post, she worked for 15 years at DDB, the last being managing director at DDB Berlin.

She will direct the European business with the agency's clients Hyundai, Kia and Genesis.

Plümecke will be leading an agency with 200 employees in Germany and over 400 employees in Europe.

She will report directly to Sam (Wooksang) Ryu, CEO-President of Innocean Europe.

The Berlin and Frankfurt operation consists of various teams working together in the various aspects of the Hyundai Motor Group communications in the European region. While both offices have historically collaborated, an increasingly integrated planning is bringing the collaboration between these two offices even closer.

Ryu noted that Plümecke is “a proven leader with the operational know-how and the data and digital-driven approach we are looking for to materialize our agency vision.
