We won't know until the end of the day how the size of the audience of the second day of the Democratic National Convention compares with the Republicans', but according to Nielsen, the Democrats' Day One television crowd size was 13% bigger than the GOP's.
Based on the Democrat's Day Two content -- especially big tent speeches by both Barack and Michelle Obama -- I'm going to guess the margins are at least as good, which is sure to weirdly trigger the Republican No. 1.
During his speech in fact, Barack Obama called out what everyone -- on both sides of the aisle -- is already thinking about: his "weird obsession with crowd sizes." (See above.)
It's something I've thought a lot about covering Donald Trump well before he had a dictator's -- er, I mean president's -- gleam in his eye, as he lied, distorted and obsessed on the numbers of virtually everything he touched -- from the ratings of his reality TV shows to the number of floors in Trump Tower -- and ultimately to the size of the audiences at his political events, in-person, televised or otherwise.

It was a great zinger from one president to another, and sight gag aside, it reminded us all that there is something very, very weird about Trump -- and, in my opinion, anyone who buys into his lies, especially the overtly narcissistic ones. Personally, I've never considered that a good quality for the most powerful person in the world.
Or as Barack Obama went on to point out -- comparing Trump's weirdness to a neighbor who keeps running his leaf blower outside your window every minute of every day.
"Now, from a neighbor, that's exhausting," Obama noted, adding, "From a president, it's just dangerous."
Michelle Obama had some good zingers too, including one that exposed another weird thing about Trump. Honestly, I don't want to step on her delivery, so I highly recommend you watch it below, if you haven't already seen it.
"When they go low, we go high."

Yes, we are all entitled to change our position.
@Dan Ciccone: By all means, I hope you do.
