Michelin, the Clermont-Ferrand, France-based company known for its tires, travel guides and highly-coveted restaurant stars, has selected Omnicom Media Group to be its next global media agency, according to sources.
The firm previously worked with Havas, which was awarded the global media account in 2017. It was not clear if Havas participated in the review. At the time of that appointment Michelin was spending an estimated annual $100 million on measured media globally.

According to COMvergence, the company spent approximately $120 million on media in 2023.
Omnicom Media Group declined to comment. Michelin’s media relations team did not return a query about the appointment by deadline.
