Aegis Group plc, parent company of Carat North America, said Tuesday that it had bought Proactive Insight, a South Africa-based research firm. Proactive Insight, which will be purchased for cash as
well as deferred cash over three years, has more than 300 employees and several offices. It has clients in the automotive, financial, and IT sectors as well as several blue-chip multinational clients.
