Starcom Wins Macy's Media

Starcom has won media planning and buying for Federated Department Stores' $200 million Macy's account, various trade publications reported late Friday. Macy's media had been handled in-house. Havas' MPG and Interpublic's Initiative Media were finalists. Macy's recently assigned the creative portion of its account to WPP's JWT unit, following a corresponding review.
