New Ad Campaign Seeks To Revive Struggling U.S. Newspaper Industry

The national trade organization for the U.S. newspaper industry is launching a new, $50 million ad campaign designed to attract advertisers to the struggling medium. The theme of the effort, from the Newspaper Association of America, is "Newspaper advertising, a destination, not a distraction." It includes print and online executions aimed at media planners and buyers, and will run in newspapers nationwide as well as trade magazines.
