CEOs Dimon, Sweet Featured In New York Jobs Council Campaign

The New York Jobs CEO Council has launched a new out-of-home ad campaign called “Make It Here.”

The Council is a coalition of 30 companies brought together by JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon. The campaign highlights a milestone achieved by the Jobs Council member companies: They have hired 40,000 New Yorkers through its programs.

The campaign also encourages non-member businesses to get involved with the Council and its hiring efforts.

The campaign runs through the end of the year. Ads feature CEOs—including Dimon and Accenture’s Julie Sweet—alongside local young people who have successfully landed jobs and internships at their companies through the Council’s work.

Advertising will run in all five boroughs including iconic New York City locations like Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station, One Vanderbilt, Times Square and Lincoln Center. Ads also appear on the MTA Subway, Metro-North Railroad, Long Island Railroad, within yellow cab systems and member company retail locations.

To celebrate the jobs placement milestone and the campaign, Council members rang the opening bell at the NASDAQ exchange’s Times Square location earlier this week.
