Rise New York Debuts ArtLab To Enhance Brand Experiences

Creative agency Rise New York and Partners acquired Spaces&Creatures, an experiential studio known for its brand experiences. It was previously part of FlagCX and owned by IPG.

Renaming the studio Artlab by Rise, the purchase aligns with the agency's move into creative tech.

Rise’s chief creative officer Flavio Vidigal called the acquisition “a natural expansion of the work we are already doing to design unforgettable experiences that draw massive global audiences.”

Edson Pavoni and Bella Nardini will lead Artlab as global head of creative tech and global head of experience and ritual, respectively. Pavoni founded Spaces&Creatures, where he led client projects for Google, Spotify, Fiat and Accenture.

“In the age of AI, Artlab is committed to creating brand experiences that nurture human connection through art and ritual — not by looking back but by exploring new poetics of technology,” said Pavoni. "Will technology divide or unite us? We believe global brands have a role to play in answering this question."
