John Sills To Join 'The Guardian' As Head Of North American Sales

The Guardian has appointed John Sills to the new position of vice president, head of sales for North America.

Previously, Sills was vice president of client solutions at Morning Brew.

“During John’s tenure at Morning Brew, revenue more than tripled,” says Sara Badler, chief advertising officer for the Guardian US, to whom Sills will report. “He has a proven track record of driving significant growth and achieving challenging sales targets on a national scale.”

Badler adds: “I look forward to working with him on cross-departmental collaborations with marketing, revenue operations, and editorial to develop promotional strategies that enhance engagement and amplify impact for our advertising clients.”

Prior to joining Morning Brew, Sill worked at Audacy, CBS Interactive, and NBCUniversal NBC Sports Group.
