John Moore, global CEO at Interpublic’s Mediahub, is stepping down after a 28-year career with the agency, including his years at MullenLowe where he led the effort to develop and expand its media operation into a separate agency.
He’s been discussing his departure internally since last fall to prepare for the transition and is set to depart in March.

Moore has been global CEO at Mediahub for five years; previously, he was global president and was earlier CMO.
Mediahub launched as separate agency in 2005 under MullenLowe. In 2019 it separated from MullenLowe as a separate media agency with IPG and in 2023 became part of Mediabrands, the IPG media management arm.
Under Moore’s stewardship the agency has won numerous Agency of the Year awards at MediaPost and other publications, not to mention other awards that celebrated the agency’s innovative and creative approach to media campaigns.
In a note on his LinkedIn page last week, Moore wrote, “To all my dear friends and colleagues, the news is out that I will be leaving Mediahub at the end of March. After 35+ years in this business, it’s time for me to 'dial it down' and chase the next and exciting chapter of my life.”

I will end in quoting the Grateful Dead, What a long, strange (and amazing) trip it's been. I am truly blessed and grateful.”
The agency issued a statement on its own LinkedIn page that reads in part that Moore’s “proudest achievement is leading Mediahub since its inception. At his heart, John is a builder, and he leaves an incredible legacy of growth, from co-creating Mediahub in 2007 on the north shore of Boston, to becoming a global powerhouse and fierce competitor on every continent."
