Web Marketing Association Recognizes Websites

Campbell-Ewald took home top honors in the Web Marketing Association’s sixth annual WebAward Competition for corporate web sites. Campbell-Ewald won for its work on “Accelerate Your Life, NAVY.” Judges said it was an outstanding site with good use of technology and a clean, effective design. Fry Inc. took home 17 awards, the most in the competition. It received recognition for Fine Living Television as Best Broadcasting Website and Hickory Farms as Best Food Website. Other agencies winning multiple awards included Apollo Interactive (8), Aristotle (11), Arnold Worldwide (10), Consumer Health Interactive (7), Digitas (5), HSR Business To Business (9), Iapps (6), R/GA (6) and Weber Shandwick Worldwide (13). There were 1,300 sites from 19 countries entered in the competition. Entries judged on design, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, ease of use and use of technology.
