McCann, Microsoft Strike Deal For New Tech Framework

Interpublic's McCann Worldgroup, the division that includes Universal McCann, Wednesday announced plans to adopt Microsoft's Connected Services Framework into its IT infrastructure, marking the first time a major ad agency will utilize the system. McCann, which also happens to be a Microsoft agency, said the framework would be used in "two projects," which would enable its employees and partners to publish, browse, search and access digital media assets form a centralized depository, regardless of their file size. Among other things, the system will facilitate the transfer of large, high-resolution files from one location to another.
