Report: Interpublic Launches User Generated Practice

Interpublic Group, the parent of Initiative, Magna Global and Universal McCann, has launched a new user-generated content practice, reports Adweek. The new unit, headed by Universal McCann Group Communications Director Brian Monahan, comes as other players on Madison Avenue are eying a bigger role in consumer-generated content, including Interpublic, which is also rumored to be near an equity stake in online social networking site Facebook.
