Radio ad spending rose marginally in May due mainly from increased demand from local advertisers, the Radio Advertising Bureau reported late last week. Total radio ad spending rose 1 percent from May
2005, according to a survey of participating stations. That's an improvement from year-to-date results, which are down 1 percent from the first five months of 2005. National sales fell 1 percent in
May and are flat year-to-date.
