B-to-B Ad Demand Continues To Climb

Demand rose for ad space in the business press in April, with total ad pages tracked by the Business Information Network climbing 1.48 percent over April 2005, American Business Media reported late last week. Through the first four months of 2006, B-to-B ad pages were up 0.68 percent. Reported ad revenues climbed 2.90 percent in April and are up 1.18 percent year-to-date. "It is modest growth, but it is growth," stated Gordon Hughes, president-CEO of the ABM, noting that business media are also experiencing "strong growth" in digital media sales.
