ABC Tuesday announced an agreement with InStore Broadcasting Network making the TV network both an advertiser and a content provider to the place-based network. The deal, which extends through 2009,
gives ABC exclusive rights to deliver ads and made-for-store video content on monitors located in the checkout areas of supermarkets and department stores owned by Kroger Co. Locations covered by the
deal include Kroger and Kroger Marketplace, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, King Soopers, City Markets, Smith's and Smith's Marketplace, Fry's and Fry's Marketplace, Dillons and QFC stores.
