The Tube Music Network, the digital music channel broadcast on a TV station's multicast channel, announced Wednesday it had launched on Cablevision systems via Tribune stations in New York,
Philadelphia and Hartford. That brings the Tube's total distribution to 13 million homes. With the additional cable carriage, The Tube adds more than 2 million digital subscribers to its aggressive
summer rollout. In the past few weeks, the Tube has launched on cable systems in Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Baltimore and Minneapolis.
