EMI Music Publishing has agreed to make its catalogue--including tracks by Arctic Monkeys, James Blunt, Kelly Clarkson, and Pharrell Williams--available for free, ad-supported downloading through the
start-up SpiralFrog. The move comes one week after Universal Music said it had
signed with the new online music company, led by former Universal McCann CEO Robin Kent.
