Expedia Selects Doner For $170 Mil Account

Expedia.com has confirmed hiring Doner to handle its ad account following a review. Estimated billings are $170 million, and Doner will supervise both creative and media duties. Expedia parted with IPG's Deutsch/LA in Marina del Rey, Calif. Expedia saw its market share erode 5 percent in the first six months of 2006 versus the comparable 2005 period, although it still leads the online travel segment at 35 percent, according to PhoCusWright.
