The New York Times Co. has launched two new real estate Web sites that aggregate listings and articles from across the company's newspapers throughout the country. One site, "Great Homes," features
luxury listings in locales across the country. That section also includes Web-only articles by
New York Times staff, and also contains online versions of articles that originated in company
papers, such as
The Boston Globe, the
International Herald Tribune,
The Ledger (Lakeland, Fla.),
Sarasota Herald-Tribune and
The Press Democrat (Santa Rosa, Calif.).
The other new section, "Home Finance Center," offers information about mortgages. Ad inventory on the sites--which quietly rolled out a few weeks ago--is already nearly sold out, said Vivian Schiller,
senior vice president and general manager, NYTimes.com.
