Dell Sponsors New Inc.com Tech Site

Inc.com today is launching a new site focusing on technology for small business and entrepreneurs, with Dell as the first sponsor, the publisher will announce today. The site, IncTechnology.com, offers advice for tech strategies on a host of issues, covering the hands-on details of Internet and e-business, technology management, networking, software, security, and wireless.

The online extension of Inc. magazine also features articles, product reviews and case studies, as well as a white paper directory. Edited by Elisabeth Wasserman, a prolific technology journalist, the new tech Web site is to include content from respected business tech pundits like Brad King, a contributor to MIT's Technologyreview.com, and David Freedman, Inc. magazine's technology columnist.

David Grossman, the director of business development for Inc. and Fast Company (both owned by Mansueto Ventures LLC) says the opening Dell promotion will feature a variety of ad units on all the site's Web pages, a sponsored content box with Dell product info, and a welcome ad. The Dell logo will also appear in all promotional ads for IncTechnology.com that run on the original Inc.com Web site. The new site will also be promoted through search engine marketing, display ad campaigns, and partnerships with other Web sites.
