  • April 26, 2004
FindWhat.com reported a first quarter revenue boost of 56 percent compared to the same period in 2003. Keyword search and company acquisitions helped spur the performance-based marketing provider to record-breaking first quarter revenues of $24.7 million. That's compared to $15.8 million from the same period a year ago.

The Fort Myers, Fla.-based FindWhat acquired Miva Corp., a provider of e-commerce software, and Comet Systems, a desktop software firm, in recent months, and will close its merger with Espotting Media this summer.

FindWhat reported first quarter net income of $3.8 million, or 16 cents a diluted share, up 41 percent from $2.7 million, or 13 cents a share in first quarter 2003.
