Simon Andrews Joins MindShare As Digital Chief Strategy Officer

WPP's MindShare has tapped Simon Andrews to serve as the agency's first digital chief strategy officer. Andrews will report to Nick Emery, Group M chief strategy officer. Andrews also will work with other digital group leaders, including Worldwide CEO John Montgomery, EMEA CEO Rob Noss, and GroupM Asia Pacific CEO Ruth Stubbs. Andrews formerly started the digital agency Big Picture, which had a client roster including Halifax, STA Travel and Tetley. Big Picture is now closed, according to its Web site. Simon previously served as a partner in Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners; he also helped launch Poppe Tyson in Europe in 1996, and later managed the merger with Modem Media in Europe.
