Honda Element Breaks Campaign On MySpace, SI.com

Honda launched a new online ad campaign for its Element SUV. The initiative features animated animals, including "Gil the Crab," a popular figure from a similar previous campaign. The effort, created by Honda's agency of record, RPA, includes a "best profile" contest on MySpace, a variety of online video placements, and the exclusive sponsorship of SI.com's customizable, downloadable swimsuit calendar in February. The campaign also includes a collection of 15- and 30-second video spots running on sports and targeted cable TV.
