The NFL has officially announced its call for a 30-second Super Bowl XLI ad conceived by a fan, and legendary director Joe Pytka will help pick the winner, then direct the spot. A Web site with details at www.NFL.com/superad will go live Oct. 31. Pitches will be taken in person at three different locations. Fans will get to vote on the taped pitches of 12 finalists posted on the Web site. Pytka and a panel of judges will make the final call.
