The Interpublic Group elected William T. Kerr, current chairman of the Meredith Corp., to its Board of Directors. Previously, Kerr was president and COO of Meredith, a post he was named to in 1994. In
this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business of the company's operating groups. He also held senior posts at The New York Times Co. Michael I. Roth, Interpublic's chairman
and CEO, cited Kerr's "deep understanding of the dynamic media landscape" as a key asset in his Interpublic appointment.
