Airlines Will Introduce In-Flight iPod Compatibility

Apple Computer plans to integrate its iPod music players into the in-flight entertainment systems of six airlines. Passengers on United Airlines, Continental and Delta, as well as Emirates, KLM and Air France, will be able to power and charge their iPods during flights and watch the video content on their iPods on their seat back displays. The airlines expect to begin service in mid-2007.
