In its annual set of high-tech industry predictions for the upcoming year, market research firm In-Stat doesn't project big gains for mobile advertising. "Mobile carriers will make several attempts at
providing advertising due largely to eagerness by large national advertisers," stated the report released Wednesday. "Revenues will remain very small as carriers, advertisers, and users try to
determine the best format as well as pricing schemes that aren't based on traditional 'cost per thousand' formulas."
