GoDaddy Taps Shine, Will Reprise Controversial Super Bowl Spots

GoDaddy.com, the Web site hosting and domain registration service known for its wild Super Bowl commercials, has tapped Madison, Wis.-based Shine Advertising as its new agency strategic planning, traditional advertising, Web development, and viral marketing. Billings were not disclosed. Initial work from Shine will include new TV spots for Super Bowl XLI, including the kind of ''extended uncut Internet-only versions'' GoDaddy has used in the past. The company vows they will be in the tradition of "fun, sexy, and slightly inappropriate."
