Distancing itself even further from its Los Angeles roots, Interpublic's Initiative North America unit is moving the base of its corporate communications operations to New York and has hired
MediaPost's Tom Siebert as vice president-corporate communications. Siebert, who has served as editor at large at MediaPost, had previously been vice president-corporate communications of Havas' MPG
unit. At Initiative, Siebert will report to CEO Richard Beaven. Leah Gross, who previously held the position from Initiative's Los Angeles office, will assist Siebert with the transition before moving
on to pursue other interests.
