Media Head Headed For Another, American Legacy Stages Review

  • January 11, 2007
For the second time in two days, spunky independent media and communications planning consultant shop Media Head needs to defend a major piece of business. On Wednesday, the American Legacy Foundation said it is staging a review for the media services portion of its multimillion dollar anti-smoking campaign, reports Adweek. On Monday, pre-paid cell phone marketer Virgin Mobile announced a review of its creative and media services account, and Media Head is expected to defend that (Media Daily News Jan. 9). Virgin's creative shop, Mother, will not participate in the review. Media Head has handled the American Legacy Foundation's since 2003, when it picked up the account from Havas' MPG unit. Management consultant Pile and Co. is handling the review, which is part of a pro forma, every-four-years, mandated process.
