since its launch in 1996. Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes says Becker's "extensive experience and insight in Washington is now integral to our development of the proposed business channel."
At the same time, "Weekend Live" anchor and congressional correspondent Brian Wilson will take over as Hume's replacement. No launch date for the new venture has been announced, but News Corp COO Peter Chernin recently said that one would follow "pretty rapidly" after the network got distribution in at least 30 million households. It has already passed that mark on deals with Comcast and Time Warner Cable.
