Under Armour Signs To Appear In Wrigley Field

  • February 16, 2007
Under Armour is putting its signage on Chicago's Wrigley Field -- a first for the home of baseball's Chicago Cubs. The brand will also feature in Cubs advertising, with outfielder Alfonso Soriano wearing Under Armour performance batting gloves and wristbands.

The deal will put two 7-by-12 foot paintings of Under Armour's logo on outfield doors in left and right field. It also gives the sports apparel and footwear maker rights to the signage behind home plate in Wrigley Field. Under Armour just released its first line of baseball cleats.
