Quiznos has announced the appointment of Steve Provost to EVP/CMO, effective March 26. He will be responsible for building the brand in national and international arenas.

Provost joins Quiznos from Yum! Brand, Inc.'s A&W and Long John Silver's, where he worked as chief marketing and food innovation officer. During his 18 years with Yum!, he held a number of strategic roles for Kentucky Fried Chicken, including operations, franchise support, concept development, marketing and public relations. He also worked with President George H.W. Bush as a speech writer and with a number of other political figures for strategic communications.
