Broadcast Nets Target Cable In Trade Ad Effort

ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, UPN and the WB networks are banning for together for a joint anti-cable marketing effort, the first since the demise of the Network Television Association in the mid-1990s, reports The New York Times. Ads breaking in trade publications will emphasize the superior reach of broadcast network TV as the networks head into the 2004-05 upfront buying season.
