Mediaedge:cia's New C-Suite: Scanzoni, Doyle

Mediaedge:cia has promoted two veteran media executives--tapping Lee Doyle as CEO North America and Rino Scanzoni as chairman, and placing them in charge of some $8 billion in billings. The executives will oversee Mediaedge:cia operations in 23 U.S. cities and Canada.

Scanzoni also serves as chief investment officer for Group M, the umbrella media organization within WPP Group. "North America is naturally a critical region in our total business, and New York is the largest office in the [Mediaedge:cia] network," said Charles Courtier, global CEO.

Doyle has been with Mediaedge:cia since 2000, working on accounts that include Cingular Wireless, Colgate Palmolive and Campbell Soup Company. He serves on the AAAAs Media Policy Committee.

Scanzoni joined the agency in 2002 as head of national broadcast buying and became chief investment officer in 2004. He had served as executive vice president and managing director of MediaVest Entertainment.
