JC Penney, Surfing Twins Launch Clothing Line

  • March 23, 2007
JC Penney and Chip & Pepper have launched C7P...A Chip & Pepper Production, a denim and sportswear line inspired by California surfing twins Chip and Pepper Foster, to be sold exclusively at JC Penney.

The new collection, designed for JC Penney's Junior's and Young Men's customers, will debut in most JC Penney stores and online at jcp.com for the 2007 Back-to-School season. The line includes jeans, skirts, Bermuda shorts and crop pants, along with T-shirts, tops and fleece. The collection will retail from $14.99 for tops to $34.99 for jeans.

The twins, who also own their company, will be the face of the brand in all JC Penney's marketing, including personal appearances. Creative Artists Agency, which handles the twins, and Mamiye Brothers, Inc., a teen and tween apparel manufacturer, put the deal together.
