Dash Navigation Recruiting Heavy Commuters For Test

  • April 10, 2007
Dash Navigation, a company that makes Internet-based portable GPS equipment, is launching a grassroots effort to promote its product. The Mountainview, Calif.-based company is recruiting 2,000 heavy commuters and early adopters to "road test" Dash Express in various parts of the country. Commuters must apply by visiting dash.net.

The company says it is ramping up for a national commercial launch this fall. Drivers will be selected based on responses to a short survey and will be notified via e-mail if they have been chosen. Anyone who visits the site can also sign up to be alerted when Dash begins sales later this year.
