Comcast, ESPN Bring 'Truck,' Advertisers To Subway

Mazda and Sirius radio are among the marketers sponsoring Comcast Spotlight's Chicago ad sales team in a partnership involving ESPN and Subway to bring ESPN The Truck--an interactive television sportscenter on wheels--to Subway restaurants in the town of Bolingbrook on Sunday.

Throughout the day, ESPN merchandise will be given away, and Subway will be providing samples of selected food and offering coupons.

Contained within a 53-foot trailer and adjacent tent, ESPN The Truck's interactive exhibits give sports fans the opportunity to experience ESPN HD; take home their photo on the cover of ESPN the Magazine; play the latest motor sports video games; download ESPN interactive programs; and much more.

ESPN The Truck is sponsored nationally by Mazda and powered by SIRIUS.

"We are thrilled to team with Comcast Spotlight to bring ESPN The Truck to Subway in Bolingbrook," said Jeff Siegel, ESPN vice president of affiliate advertising sales and marketing. "ESPN The Truck is a demonstration of the cutting-edge products and services that ESPN is constantly developing to better serve the sports fan, our affiliates, and advertisers. It is truly a hands-on experience that no sports fan should miss."
