Tom Hagopian was named division executive vice president, general manager of digital media at Playboy Enterprises. Hagopian will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, strategic development and management of the company's global online and mobile businesses. This position reports directly to Bob Meyers, Executive Vice President and President, Media and will be based in New York.

Hagopian, 48, has spent the vast majority of his career in the media industry, most recently with OpenTV, Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Programming and Advertising since 2003. His experience also includes working for Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc., where he was President, TV Guide Online and Chief Operating Officer of TV Guide Data Solutions.

Prior to that he was Vice President of Interactive Products with Cablevision Systems Corporation, and spent 10 years with ESPN Enterprises where he served in several key capacities including the initial General Manager of espn.com.
