Pharma's 'FirstWord' Goes Mobile

The publisher of FirstWord, the leading daily digest for the pharmaceutical industry, has launched a mobile edition identical to its online version. "FirstWord Mobile" allows subscribers to customize content, selecting specific drugs, world markets and international companies to follow on a daily basis.

Compatible with most handheld devices, the product provides full synopses of breaking news, culled from a variety of publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Bloomberg, CNN, CNBC and other leading sources. In addition, FirstWord monitors more than 2,000 medical journals and hundreds of conferences for news that responds to subscribers' keywords.

Subscriptions are $795 and $1,495 per year. FirstWord currently has more than 100,000 global subscribers.
