Kraft will showcase more than 70 new foods and beverages via partnership with "Today Show" Food Editor & Contributor Phil Lempert on his exclusive "Phil's Supermarket" in the interactive online world of Second Life.
Kraft will host a virtual ribbon-cutting at the cyber store with an avatar version of Rick Searer, president, Kraft North America, in attendance.
The move is timed with Kraft's presence at the Food Marketing Institute show, May 6-8, in Chicago, where the company will unveil products in categories of health and wellness, premium taste, quick meals and snacking.
Kraft's new products will include cheeses with probiotics and prebiotics, snacks and convenience meals from DiGiorno, Jell-O, Oscar Mayer, Philadelphia and others.
