Strauss Joins Newspaper Network As Interactive Sales Chief

Gary Strauss--a veteran of online media companies, including Lycos, DoubleClick and Imaginova--has joined the Newspaper National Network in the newly created role of interactive sales director. In this capacity, he will develop integrated sales programs for advertisers, specifically expanding sales opportunities for national advertisers on newspaper Web sites. "It is exciting for me to help further the newspaper industry's morphing into a digital machine," said Strauss.
