Einson Freeman Merges With OgilvyAction

Promotion marketing firm Einson Freeman has merged into OgilvyAction, the brand activation arm for The Ogilvy Group.

Former Einson Freeman Chief Creative Officer Larry Durst is now executive creative director for consumer promotion for OgilvyAction in New York. Former Director of Client Services Tracy Lanza is now director of account service for consumer promotion for OgilvyAction in New York.

Einson Freeman creates campaigns that use sweepstakes, games, and gift-with-purchase enticements to increase brand awareness. Its services also include in-store display creation, event marketing, brand licensing, and retailer-specific marketing.

In addition, Einson Freeman has special units that cater to the health care industry and online promotions. Clients include Bayer, Sony, Sunsweet, and Unilever. The firm was founded in 1909 by Morris Einson; becoming part of WPP.

OgilvyAction is the global activation services company for The Ogilvy Group. It has 48 offices in 38 countries and offers shopper and trade marketing, experiential marketing, digital, retail design, and sports and entertainment marketing.
