ShoppingWords Opens Shop

ShoppingWords has beta-launched what it calls a hybrid social shopping and advertising site at www.shoppingwords.com.

The company said that advertisers can instantly advertise on shopping "words" or "tags" that are available for sponsorships--and that a fixed pricing system "ensures that they won't have to worry about the disadvantages of the pay-per-click system anymore."

Site members' profiles will include "shopping words" they want to buy, have bought or have previously changed their minds in buying.

"ShoppingWords was designed to be a cost effective advertising system, created for them to know what shoppers really want and advertise their products intelligently," said Chris Katigbak, founder of ShoppingWords.
