Microsoft Names New Games Head

Microsoft named former Electronic Arts (EA) president Don Mattrick as senior vice president of its Interactive Entertainment Business, which includes both Xbox and Games for Windows. He replaces Peter Moore, who was in turn named president of EA Sports.

Mattrick left EA in Feb. 2006, and had been working as an external advisor to Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division since Feb. 2007.
