The Procter & Gamble Co. says that sales for its April-through-June quarter are up 8%, while earnings are up 19%. It said that sales gains came across all units, led by high single-digit growth in
shaving products and fabric and home care, and sales gains in the mid-single digits in healthy and beauty. Its snacks, coffee and pet care, pressured by widespread product recalls, managed a 2%
gain.
