P&G To Intro Pringles Stix In Southeast Tour

Procter & Gamble's Pringles will tour seven Southeast cities starting Aug. 20 to introduce its Pringles Stix in advance of a spring national rollout.

At 58 retail locations in Atlanta; Jacksonville, Fla.; Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh, N.C.; and Montgomery and Birmingham, Ala., consumers will be able to sample four new flavors, make their own music video with Electronic Arts' Boogie for Wii and enter for a chance to win a Wii Game Kit, one of which will be given away in each location.

PringlesStix.com has been set up for the event.

According to Nielsen Monitor-Plus, P&G spent $33.7 million on advertising for Pringles in 2006--up from $31 million the year before.
