CafeMom Brews $5 Million in Funding

Social network CafeMom.com this week secured $5 million in a funding round led by Highland Capital Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Last month, the site claimed 65 million page views and 1.7 million unique visitors. Existing site advertisers include Playskool, Disney, HP, Kraft, General Mills, and Sara Lee. Launched in November 2006, CafeMom is owned by CMI Marketing.
