Formerly a 20-year Blair Television vet, he served there in sales posts in New York and Dallas and most recently Chicago, where he was senior vice president and director of sales.
In July, Katz peeled another executive away from the smaller Blair for the new position of executive vice president of agency and advertiser relations: ex-Blair president Leo MacCourtney. In his new post, MacCourtney is working in the new business realm with the spot buying community.
"[Bisceglia's] proven track record of building long-term client relationships demonstrates why he's a great addition to the Millennium management team," said Craig Broitman, Millennium's president. "His significant industry experience and strong relationships in the advertising community will help us create new opportunities in the years ahead."
Bisceglia said the move marks "a great opportunity to join the Millennium team at a time of tremendous opportunity for the company."
Katz, part of Clear Channel, comprises Millennium and other units, Continental Television Sales and Eagle Television Sales.
